The ENCOMPASS Registry
The ENCOMPASS Registry is the central data platform underpinning the consortium. It captures detailed clinical, imaging, treatment, toxicity, and outcome data across centres delivering prostate brachytherapy.
By linking technical treatment delivery with patient outcomes, the registry supports benchmarking, quality improvement, collaborative research, and evidence generation for future standards of care.
What does the Registry collect?
The ENCOMPASS Registry captures the technical and clinical detail needed to understand how prostate brachytherapy is delivered and how variation in practice affects outcomes.

- Treatment details, including HDR, LDR, monotherapy, boost, and salvage approaches
- DICOM imaging and treatment-related dosimetry
- Toxicity and patient-reported outcome measures

ENCOMPASS Members
ENCOMPASS members are clinicians, medical physicists, researchers, and institutions contributing to the broader scientific direction, collaborative planning, and development of the consortium.
ENCOMPASS membership is distinct from formal registry participation. Registry participation may require local governance approval, data-sharing agreements, site initiation, and contribution of standardised data.
Registry Participation
Centres interested in formal registry participation can contribute standardised clinical, imaging, dosimetric, toxicity, and outcome data through a structured governance and site-initiation pathway.
Participation in the registry provides a pathway to data-driven benchmarking, collaborative analyses, quality improvement initiatives, and future ENCOMPASS sub-studies.
Governance and Data Security
ENCOMPASS data are managed under strict governance frameworks. Data are de-identified prior to transfer and stored securely within approved institutional infrastructure. Formal registry participation is subject to local approvals, institutional governance, and data-sharing agreements.
